Martha Riva Palacio reshapes the myth of Orpheus to create a love story that repeats through time. The poetic prose, that is present in this short novel captivates and surrounds the reader into an atmosphere where Eurydice sings through the corridors of Argos, while a ship is suspended in the sea of time and Orpheus narrates, sometimes in his own voice, some others in the voice of his beloved, this encounters and disagreements, on which he will have to turn back again and again.
